Refund Policy

1. Merchant of Record
All payments for YepUp (operated by CREO Ljos ehf) are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (for customers worldwide except the US) or Paddle.com Inc. (for US customers), who act as our Merchant of Record. This means your purchase is made from Paddle, and Paddle's Buyer Terms and Privacy Policy apply to all transactions in addition to this policy.
2. Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-Off Period)
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days from the day after the transaction, without giving any reason.
Digital Content Exception: Because YepUp is a digital service that is made available immediately upon subscription, by completing your purchase you expressly consent to immediate access and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once you begin using the service.
To exercise your right of withdrawal (where applicable), you must inform Paddle of your decision before the 14-day period expires. You can do this by contacting Paddle directly through the link in your purchase receipt, or by contacting us at gdpr@yepup.app.
3. Subscription Refunds
New Subscriptions: Refund requests may be submitted within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase. Paddle will assess each request in accordance with their buyer terms.
Renewals: The right of withdrawal applies only to the initial subscription, not to automatic renewals. You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future renewals.
Cancellations: When you cancel a subscription, your access continues until the end of the current billing period. There are no refunds for unused portions of a billing period.
4. When Refunds Are Available
Refunds may be granted when:
- The service does not work as advertised
- Persistent technical issues prevent you from using the service
- Billing errors or duplicate charges have occurred
- The request is made within the applicable refund period
5. When Refunds May Not Be Available
Refunds may not be granted for:
- Requests made more than 60 days after the transaction date
- Unused portions of a subscription period after cancellation
- Violations of our Terms of Service
- Fraudulent activity or abuse
6. Requesting a Refund
To request a refund, you can:
- Use the Paddle customer portal link included in your purchase receipt
- Contact us at gdpr@yepup.app with your account details and reason for the request
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days.
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after the refund decision. The refund will be issued to your original payment method. The time it takes to appear in your account depends on your payment provider.
8. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer. If you are resident in the EU, UK, or any jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
9. Disputes and Resolution
If you feel a refund decision was unfair, please contact us and we'll work with you to find a fair resolution. You may also contact Paddle directly through your purchase receipt or at paddle.com.
