Lifetime Terms

These terms cover YepUp's Lifetime (Founding Member) subscriptions — a limited one-time purchase that grants permanent access to a paid plan tier. They sit alongside our Terms of Service; where the two overlap, these Lifetime Terms apply specifically to Lifetime purchases.
We've written this page in plain English. We mean it the way it reads — no hidden meaning, no asterisks pointing at something else.
1. What "lifetime" means
"Lifetime" means for as long as YepUp continues to operate the corresponding paid plan tier. It does not mean for the duration of your life or any other open-ended commitment beyond our control. So long as we are running a Pro plan, you have Pro access — paid for in full, with no further charges.
2. Features now and in the future
Every feature included in the corresponding paid plan tier on the day of your purchase is included in your Lifetime subscription. Every feature we ship for that tier in the future is also included, at no additional cost. If we add an entirely new plan tier above your Lifetime tier, that new tier may be a separate product not included in your Lifetime access; we will tell you clearly if and when this happens.
3. Future price changes
If we raise the price of the corresponding monthly or annual subscription in the future, your Lifetime access is unaffected. You have already paid in full.
4. 30-day refund window
You may request a full refund within 30 days of your Lifetime purchase, for any reason or no reason. After 30 days, the purchase becomes non-refundable except in the circumstances described in Section 5 below. Refund requests must be made via your Paddle customer portal or by emailing support@yepup.app.
5. What happens if we discontinue the tier or shut down YepUp
If we discontinue the paid plan tier corresponding to your Lifetime subscription, or shut down YepUp entirely, within ten (10) years of your purchase, you are entitled to a pro-rated refund calculated as:
refund = purchase_price × (1 − years_since_purchase ÷ 10)
For example, a $249 Lifetime purchase discontinued after four years would qualify for a refund of $249 × (1 − 4/10) = $149.40. After ten years, no further refund obligation applies — at that point you have received the equivalent of an extended, fully-paid run of the service.
We will give at least 90 days' notice before discontinuing a tier so that you can export your data and migrate.
6. Non-transferability
A Lifetime subscription is attached to a single YepUp account and cannot be sold, gifted, or transferred to another person or organisation. This keeps the offer aligned with its original purpose — supporting individual founding-member customers — and prevents secondary-market reselling.
7. Account deletion
If you delete your YepUp account, your Lifetime entitlement is permanently forfeited. We cannot re-attach it to a new account. If you no longer wish to use YepUp but want to preserve the entitlement for a future return, please contact us at support@yepup.app rather than deleting your account.
8. Limited availability
Each Lifetime offer is capped at a fixed number of purchases, communicated clearly at the time of offering. Once the cap is reached, the offer closes and is not re-opened. We may run future Lifetime offers, but each is independent of any previous run.
9. Payment processing
Lifetime purchases are processed as a single one-time transaction by Paddle.com Market Limited (for customers worldwide except the US) or Paddle.com Inc. (for US customers), who act as our Merchant of Record. Paddle's Buyer Terms and Privacy Policy apply to the transaction. Paddle handles invoicing, tax calculation, and remittance.
10. Consumer rights
If you are a consumer, nothing in these Lifetime Terms limits or removes any rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence. Where local law grants you a stronger right (for example, a longer cooling-off period than 30 days), the stronger right applies.
11. Modifications to these terms
We may update these Lifetime Terms from time to time to clarify language or reflect changes in law. Any change that affects already-purchased Lifetime subscriptions will only apply where it benefits you, or where it is required to comply with law. Changes that disadvantage existing Lifetime customers will not be applied retroactively.
